International “Go Skateboarding Day” was last Sunday, and unfortunately we got rained out. We’re going to take it to the streets this weekend, and we encourage everyone to get outside to push around for a while.
Civil and Vans will hook up skaters in Providence and Westerly with free food, drinks, music, and giveaways.
Saturday June 27th Providence: After skate chill session at Grant’s Block (across the street from Civil Providence) at 5 PM. We’ll have free pizza from Nice Slice, cold drinks, giveaways, and tunes from The Music Please.
Sunday June 28th Westerly: We’ll invade the White Rock Park around 5 PM with free pizza from Vetrano’s, cold drinks, and some free gear to give away.
The Civil dudes will be out in force all day. We hope to see a strong showing from the Rhode Island skateboard community.
