Finally, a skate shoe made just for you! The Nike SB Day One is the first Nike skate shoe made from the ground up specifically for kids. Its skate-specific tread and Zoom Air unit help give you the grip and cushioning you need to keep pushing and trying new tricks. We added mesh up top to help make them breathable while durable suede overlays break in easily to help give you the flick and feel you love.

Air You Can Feel
Snappy Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot helps provide a quick-off-the-ground sensation, helping keep every push and ollie comfortable.
Cupsole Construction? What’s That?
We used a process called cupsole construction to make these shoes. It means the bottom and top of the shoe are two separate pieces that get put together. In skating, a cupsole construction helps provide stability and durability.
Boardfeel
We know how important it is to be able to feel the board under your feet. It’s part of what makes flexible shoes so great. We pulled out the excess foam from these shoes to reduce their overall weight and increase their flexibility.
Durable and Breathable
Durable suede overlays break in easily to help give you that flick and feel you love. Mesh adds breathability so you never have to end your skate session early because of hot feet.
Rubber dipped lace tips help add durability and prevent fraying.
Suede pull tab on the heel helps make these easy to get on.
