Costa Mesa, CALIF. (Mar. 9, 2023) – Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is proud to unveil the Zahba, an all-new performance-driven silhouette leading with Vans Skateboarding’s ImpactWaffle™ technology and inspired by team rider Zion Wright.
Hailing from Jupiter, Florida, Zion Wright teams up with Vans to unveil the all-new Vans Zahba. The performance-driven silhouette was inspired by Zion Wright and features ImpactWaffle tech and sustainable materials. The collaborative release is celebrated with a new short film, “We’re From Here.”
Vans Zahba is built with ImpactWaffle™ technology, a combination of Vans VR3 dual-density impact cushioning and SickStick™ rubber, providing the perfect amount of impact protection and boardfeel. Vans VR3 designation follows strict material guidelines with one or a combination of regenerative, responsibly sourced renewable, and recycled materials making up at least 30% of the product.
Known for his well-rounded approach and as being truly an all-terrain skater, Zion makes the most unthinkable tricks look easy with his fearless, no-holds-barred approach. It’s this essence that comes through in his latest Vans Skateboarding short film project, bringing into focus the impact that he’s had on skateboarding and the future progression of the sport.
